This Privacy Policy explains how Tally Counter collects, stores, and uses information when you use the Tally Counter mobile application ("App") or contact our team (together, the "Services").

"Tally Counter," "we," and "us" refer to Amenti Labs LLC, the company responsible for the Services. "You" or "user" refers to anyone who installs the App or communicates with us.

INFORMATION WE PROCESS

1. Counter Data

Tally Counter is built with a local-first design. Your counters, count history, and preferences stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync them via iCloud. We do not have direct access to your counting data.

2. Technical Diagnostics

When you launch the App, we receive limited technical diagnostics to ensure Tally Counter runs smoothly. This can include device type, operating system version, and anonymous event data such as whether a feature crashed. We use this information to improve stability and support.

3. Subscription and Purchase Data

Paid subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) using Superwall as the paywall provider. We do not collect your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing address. The App receives a confirmation that you purchased or cancelled a subscription so we can unlock or adjust Pro features. For refunds, please work directly with Apple.

4. Communications

If you email us or fill out a form, we process the contact details and message you provide so we can respond. We may use the feedback to improve Tally Counter.

LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

We process data to deliver the Services, troubleshoot issues, and respond to your requests (contractual necessity). Some processing, like analytics and crash diagnostics, helps us improve Tally Counter and is based on our legitimate interest.

RETENTION

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. You control the content stored in the App. Diagnostic logs and analytics data are retained for a limited period before being anonymized or deleted.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

To operate Tally Counter we rely on trusted partners such as Apple (App Store, iCloud), Google Cloud (hosting, crash monitoring), and Superwall (subscription management). These partners are limited to using data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

CHILDREN

Tally Counter is intended for people aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or request data portability. Most data can be managed directly inside the App. For other requests, email us at contact@amentilabs.com and we will help.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, partners, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
